I genuinely grew up believing that. My dad was an avid golfer and Sunday dinners didn’t happen until Dad returned from golf, even on the days it rained. When I asked him how he could golf in the rain… his reply was always the same. “Honey, it never rains on a golf course”. As the years went by some of my best memories were playing golf with my Dad, and after he died, I realized I didn’t really like golf, I just love being with him while doing something he truly loved.
